Join us in sharing the joy of painted rock stories, inspired by a Brooklyn tradition. Find, paint, and hide rocks to create connections and memories.

How did it start?

The Hiding and Seeking Painted Rock stories started in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. Rock painting is inspired by a childhood tradition where rocks were painted and hidden in fields, trees, and streams.

Individuals are inspired to paint rocks representing their favorite place or activity in this unique fashion. Each rock is then hidden away for someone else to find and start their own story.

We all have a story to tell.

Our painted rock shop is a place where you can find paint, rocks, and more info. Go out and hide your favorite memories, knowing some people will find them and help them tell their stories.
